Training activities

The DEXMART project activities comprise a training section, which aims at informing the young DEXMART scientists and researchers about the works carried out in the project.

The workshops have the aim to give the participating scientists a broader view of the research topics, relevant for the DEXMART project. This is especially relevant for a highly multi-disciplinary project like DEXMART, which combines four research domains to reach its objectives:

•    Interpretation, learning and modelling
•    Task planning and coordination
•    Feedback control
•    New robotic technologies

The one-day workshops will be held on the occasion of the general yearly meetings.

First internal workshop of the DEXMART project (September 15, 2008)

The first internal workshop of the DEXMART project took place on September 15, 2008 at CNRS (LAAS), Toulouse. The first workshop – in which 20 young researchers participated - dealt with Task planning issues.

Second internal workshop of the DEXMART project (April 19, 2010)

The second internal workshop of the DEXMART project will take place on April 19, 2010 within the scope of the 2nd Review Meeting in Bologna. It deals with stochastic control issues.

NOTE: Workshop cancelled due to flight disruptions in Europe caused by the eruption of the volcano Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland.
